A memorial service for Aneda Bennett of Jonesboro, Ark., will be held at 2 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. Cy Smith will officiate.
There is no visitation.
Bennett, 60, died Thursday, Dec. 4, 1997, in Jonesboro.
She was born Feb. 18, 1937, in Union County, Ill., daughter of Alexander "Eck" and Sylvia Price Goodpasture.
Bennett had lived in Cape Girardeau most of her life. She had been a nurse aide at St. Francis Medical Center, Southeast Missouri Hospital, and Heartland Care and Rehab Center, retiring in 1984.
Survivors include a son, Richard Zimmerman of Sesser, Ill.; three daughters, Sherril Evans of Carterville, Ill., Doris Morrison and Melinda Zimmerman of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Garl Goodpasture of Cobden, Ill., Bill Goodpasture of Jonesboro, Ark.; two sisters, Barbara Goodpasture of Cape Girardeau, Virginia Hicks of Granite City, Ill.; and several grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter.
