Andrew E. "Andy" Perrin, 96, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Jackson, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2015, at Chateau Girardeau, where he had been a resident 14 years. Andrew E. "Andy" Perrin, 96, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Jackson, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2015, at Chateau Girardeau, where he had been a resident 14 years.

He was born March 23, 1918, in Maplewood, Missouri, son of Peter J. and Emma Ettling Perrin. He and Beatrice Rieman were married May 23, 1942, in St. Louis. She passed away June 11, 2007.

Andy was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson since 1951, and 3rd degree member of Knights of Columbus Bishop Timon Council 6405 in Jackson.

He worked for the former Koch Manufacturing in Jackson from 1951 until 1954. He became vice president of the former Lenco in Jackson in 1955, and in 1977 became president of the company, retiring in 1987. Andy was a director of the former Exchange Bank Board and also a director of First Exchange Corp. He was a former board member of Saint Francis Medical Center and Saint Francis Medical Center Foundation.

Loving survivors include a brother, Robert Perrin of St. Charles, Missouri; two nieces, Mary (Terry) Keithley of Denver and Kathy (Larry) Britt of Chesterfield, Missouri; special friends, Rick and Connie Griswold, and their children, Heather Slinkard and Heidi (Toby) Crowder; and Connie's mother, Madalen Tiffany, all of Jackson.

In addition to his wife, Bea, he was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Immaculate Conception Church. Parish prayers will be at 6 p.m., followed by a rosary.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the church, with the Revs. John Harth and David Hulshof officiating. Interment will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church or Immaculate Conception Catholic School.
