ANNISTON -- Graveside service for Andrew Thomas Curvin of Anniston will be held at 3 p.m. today in Dogwood Cemetery. Steve Kimbro will officiate.

Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie after noon today.

Curvin, 70, died Friday, Dec. 5, 1997, at his home.

He was born May 16, 1927, in Mayfield, Ky., son of Ralph Huey and Lelar Mae Pollock Curvin. He and Almeda Hawkes were married Sept. 13, 1958.

Curvin was a retired farmer, and member of Harvest Apostolic Church in East Prairie.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, Michael Curvin of Anniston, Allen Curvin of Maryville, Ricky Curvin of San Diego, Calif., Andrew Curvin Jr. of Mayfield; seven daughters, Lelar Blagg of Benton, Penny Cobb and Cynthia Romine of Anniston, Roberta Curvin of East Prairie, Patsy Cooper of Bernie, Susan Curvin of Dresden, Tenn., and Sherry Wilson of Mayfield.

Also surviving are two brothers, Ralph Curvin Jr. of Tiptonville, Tenn., Garland Curvin of Harrison, Tenn.; four sisters, Louise Berry of Spokane, Wash., Treva Curvin of Port Orchard, Wash., Faye Bartley of Memphis, Tenn., Roberta Bratton of Tiptonville, Tenn.; and 16 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter and three brothers.
