SIKESTON -- Amy E. Langston, 93, of Sikeston died Wednesday, March 29, 2000, at Clearview Nursing Center.

She was born March 13, 1907, in Princeton, Ky., daughter of John and Mary Stone Humes. She married John Langston Jan. 13, 1948. He died Feb. 14, 1993.

Langston was a member of Dry Bayou Missionary Baptist Church in Hayti.

Survivors include a son, John Langston of Houston, Texas; a daughter, Amy L. Burns of Sikeston; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son and two brothers.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with Pat Hogan officiating. Burial will be in Dry Bayou Cemetery at Hayti.
