Aminell M. Stroder, 85, of Bridgeton, Mo., formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Sunday, Aug. 21, 2005, at DePaul Hospital in Bridgeton.

She was born Dec. 30, 1919, in Whitewater, daughter of William and Cora Snell Scholz. She and Earl Stroder were married Aug. 7, 1937, in Jackson.

Stroder was an assembler at Davis Electric 25 years, and also worked at Jackson Poultry House and International Shoe Co. She was a member of Red Star Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Wilma Reisinger of Bridgeton; two brothers, John Scholz of Whitewater, Bob Scholz of Jackson; two sisters, Gladys Barbee of Warrenton, Mo., Pearl Harless of O'Fallon, Mo.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers and a sister.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Cy Smith officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
