Amelia Elizabeth Sandvos, 65, of Scott City died Monday, July 21, 2003, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Nov. 20, 1937, at Illmo, daughter of Hugo Ernest "Shine" and Alma Ann Mirgaux Sandvos.
Sandvos had been a bookkeeper at Ely Walker and also had worked at Bank of Illmo, Blair Industries and Drury Industries. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and its Ladies Sodality, an associate member of Society of St. Francis De Sales and was a lay minister.
Survivors include two brothers, Dick Sandvos of Sikeston, Mo., and David Sandvos of Scott City.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call at St. Joseph Church after 4 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church, with the Rev. David Coon officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel at Scott City is in charge of arrangements.
