Amber Kaufmann
Amber Leigh Kaufmann, 16, of Scott City died Monday, April 7, 2008, at St. Louis Children's Hospital.
Kaufman was born July 8, 1991, in Cape Girardeau to Charles Wayne Kaufmann and Teri Pauline Collins Kaufmann.
She worked at West Park Lanes in Cape Girardeau and Ice Cream Corner in Scott City.
Kaufmann was a sophomore at Scott City High School and a member of the track team, Pep Club and FCCLA.
She was also a member of the St. Paul United Methodist Church in Commerce, Mo., and an avid bowler.
Survivors include her father and stepmother Kristin Kaufmann; her mother of Scott City; two brothers, Todd Kaufmann of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Paul Kaufmann of Jackson, a sister, Erika Kaufmann of Meridian, Miss., two stepsisters, Elizabeth Nanney and MaryKate Nanney of Jackson; a stepbrother, Brock Nanney of Jackson; maternal grandparents Richard and Pauline Collins of Scott City; and paternal grandmother Kathryn Kaufmann of Jackson.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with the Revs. Jim Norris and David Schaffner officiating.
Burial will follow at Lightner Memorial Cemetery in Scott City.
