CROSSTOWN -- Amanda E. Mehner, 87, of Ozark died Friday, Sept. 17, 1999, at Ozark Riverview Manor.
She was born Nov. 1, 1911, at Crosstown, the daughter of Karl and Emilie Hacker Kirmse.
She married Harry Mehner on Sept. 15, 1940. He died on April 15, 1957.
She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville. She was baptized at Salem Lutheran Church at Farrar and later confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Crosstown on April 5, 1925.
She is survived by a son, Hilbert Mehner of Perryville; a daughter, Maxine Trantham of Ozark; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and two half brothers.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today and from 6:30 to 9 a.m. Monday at Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Zion Lutheran Church in Crosstown.
The Rev. Craig Otto will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
