FROHNA, Mo. -- Amanda H. Weber, 79, of Frohna, Mo., died Monday, Oct. 23, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born Nov. 24, 1920, in Shawneetown, Mo., the daughter of Theodore and Thekla Degenhardt Wachter. She married Edwin Weber on Oct. 11, 1942. He survives.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid and was a past member of the choir in Altenburg. She was a member of American Legion Post 133 Ladies Auxiliary in Perryville.
She also is survived by a son, William G. "Bill" Weber of Jackson, Mo.; two daughters, Barbara Weinkein of Joplin, Mo., and Sarah Patzwitz of New Wells, Mo.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, a sister, an infant sister and a granddaughter.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Young & Sons East Perry Chapel in Altenburg and from 6:30-8-30 a.m. Thursday at the chapel.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Altenburg with the Rev. Wayne Palmer officiating.
Burial will be at the church cemetery.
