AMANDA H. GOSCHE

ORAN -- Amanda H. Gosche, 96, of Oran, died Monday, Sept. 16, 1991, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born July 28, 1895, at New Hamburg, daughter of Francis and Elizabeth Kielhofner Schwartz. She married George J. Gosche Nov. 6, 1917. He died Feb. 2, 1966.

Gosche was a member of Guardian Angel Catholic Church and its St. Ann's Sodality, and Oran Senior Citizens.

Survivors include two sons, Msgr. Joseph E. Gosche of Fredericktown, former pastor of St. Mary's Cathedral in Cape Girardeau, Ralph Gosche of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Cecelia Bisher of Chaffee, Isabelle Kappler of Sikeston; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Guardian Angel Church. Msgr. Gosche will officiate, assisted by the Revs. Allan Saunders and Normand Varone. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Oran after 2:30 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7:30, and Knights of Columbus rosary at 8.
