Alvina A. Jones, 81, of Cape Girardeau, died Friday, Aug. 12, at the Fountainbleau Lodge.
She was born in Chaffee, on Feb. 12, 1913, to George and Lena Lux Glueck.
She married Vernon Jones in 1957, in Kansas City. He preceded her in death in April 1991.
Survivors include three sisters, Gladys Diebold of Cape Girardeau, and Rella Glastetter and Louella Glastetter, both of Chaffee. Three granddaughters and three great grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by one son and two brothers.
She moved to Cape Girardeau from Kansas City in 1991. Jones was a member of St. Marys Cathedral Church.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m., today, at Ford & Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. Parish prayers will be recited at 7:30 p.m., today, at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held Monday, at 10 a.m., at St. Marys Cathedral Church, with Msgr. Richard Rolwing officiating. Burial will be in St. Marys Cemetery.
