CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Alvin P. Zickfield, 85, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Dec. 24, 1990 at the Lutheran Home. He was born Oct. 16, 1905 in Cape Girardeau, the son of August Zickfield and Augusta Friederide Zickfield. He married the former Edith Cargle. She preceded him in death in 1978...

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Alvin P. Zickfield, 85, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Dec. 24, 1990 at the Lutheran Home.

He was born Oct. 16, 1905 in Cape Girardeau, the son of August Zickfield and Augusta Friederide Zickfield.

He married the former Edith Cargle. She preceded him in death in 1978.

He is survived by one son, Pete Zickfield, Barnhart; one daughter, Suzanne Maassen, Cape Girardeau; one sister, Helen Wiess, Cape Girardeau; and five grandchildren.

One brother, William Zickfield, preceded him in death.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Friends may call Wednesday from 5-9 p.m. at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel.

Funeral service will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. David Dissen officiating. Burial will follow in Lorimer Cemetery.
