CHAFFEE -- Alvin Arthur Baker, 56, of Chaffee, died Tuesday, Oct. 15, 1991, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born Nov. 10, 1934, at Chaffee, son of Carl and Ruby Viola Crumbaugh Baker. He and Jane Day Leggett were married April 28, 1963.
Baker was a truck driver for a construction company, and veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Mike Leggett of Jackson, Don Leggett of Chaffee; a daughter, Diana Foulk of Chaffee; a brother, Mike Denny of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Carla Scheper of Jackson; his stepfather, Earl Denny of Chaffee; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. The Rev. Charlie Shrum will officiate, with burial in Union Park Cemetery here.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. today.
