ZALMA -- Alva B. Randolph, 85, of Zalma, died Monday, Feb. 10, 1992 at St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 17, 1905, in Zalma, daughter of Ransy and Callie Randolph.
He was a retired farmer and a member of the Berrong General Baptist Church near Gypsy.
He married Lillie Pittman on July 23, 1924. She survives.
Other survivors are three sons, Avery Randolph, Wood River, Ill., Doyle Randolph, Zalma, and Dale Randolph, Advance; one daughter, Ruby Cavaner, Cape Girardeau; one sister, Lola Evans, Advance; 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother and four sisters.
Friends may call from 5:30 to 9 p.m. today at the Morgan Funeral Home in Advance. Service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Clinton Woodfin officiating. Burial will be at Berrong Cemetery.
