GORDONVILLE -- Funeral service for Mrs. Althea R. Elfrink of Gordonville Route 3 will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson. The Rev. Stephen Schneider will officiate, with burial in St. John's Cemetery at Leopold.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home after 4 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 8, and KC rosary at 8:30.
Mrs. Elfrink, 58 years old, died Thursday, Feb. 28, 1991, at her home.
She was born July 5, 1932, in Cape, daughter of William and Mary Cook Brandon. She married Omer Elfrink Aug. 20, 1955, in Cape.
Mrs. Elfrink moved to this area in 1986 from Bismarck. She worked at Tri-Con Industries until becoming ill in April 1990. She was a member of Immaculate Church.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Ronald Elfrink of Bridgeton, John Elfrink of Cape; three daughters, Wanda Elfrink and Deborah Smith of Cape, Regina Elfrink of Belgrade; two brothers, Harold Brandon of Grafton, Ill., Paul Brandon of St. Peters; three sisters, Mary Brandon and Lily Cordia of Cape, Gwendolyn Brandon of Bonne Terre, and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
