MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Alta Florence Eaker, 79, of Marble Hill died Friday, Dec. 1, 2006, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 24, 1927, in Glenallen, Mo., daughter of Charles Marvin and Lula Myrtle Brown Myers. She and Asiel Eaker were married Sept. 21, 1946. He died May 21, 1992.
Eaker was an in-home health-care provider several years for American Home Health Care and attended Point Pleasant General Baptist Church.
Survivors include five brothers, Wilburn Myers of Blanket, Texas, Carl Myers, Lonnie Myers and Terry Meyers, all of Marble Hill, Robert Myers of Whitewater; and a sister, Edna Brawley of Marble Hill.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gene Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Baker Cemetery near Marble Hill.
