Almeda Mayfield

ST. ANN, Mo. -- Almeda Mayfield, 87, of St. Ann died Friday, Jan. 16, 2004, at DePaul Medical Center in Bridgeton, Mo.

She was born July 27, 1916, in the Scopus area, daughter of Bernie E. and Elsie V. Bollinger. She and Addis C. Mayfield were married. He died in 1966.

Mayfield resided in St. Louis County for many years. She was a member of the Fee Fee Baptist Church for many years.

Survivors include two sons, Doyle Ray Mayfield of Foristell, Mo., and Addis Eugene Mayfield of Kent, Wash.; a daughter, Vernita Mayfield Enloe of St. Ann; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Friends may call at the Alexander Funeral Home in St. Ann. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at the Fee Fee Baptist Church in Bridgeton.

Burial will be at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, adjacent to the funeral home.
