ALMA WISE

Alma Irene Wise, 94, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born July 12, 1906, near Jackson, Mo., daughter of John Henry and Jessie K. Moore Turner. She and Luther Wise were married in 1948. He died July 28, 1979.

Wise had worked at International Shoe Co. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. She was a past high priestess of Calvary Shrine 8, and past member of Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include three nephews, Dallas Niswonger of Jackson, Floyd Blake of St. Louis, Leo Loos of Carlsbad, Calif.; and a niece, Doris McMillan of Jackson.

He was preceded in death by a brother and five sisters.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the chapel. The Rev. Ansel Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
