PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Alma Esther Wichern, 86, of Perryville died Monday, April 30, 2007, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born April 1, 1921, at Point Rest, Mo., daughter of Henry and Martha Cornehisen Wichern.

Wichern had worked at a shoe factory and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville.

Survivors include a sister, Amanda Lacy of St. Petersburg, Fla.; two brothers, Wilbert Wichern of Old Appleton, Mo., and Melvin Wichern of Thompson, Mo.

She was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to service time Thursday at Young and Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Christopher Cole officiating. Burial will be in Grace Lutheran Cemetery at Uniontown, Mo.
