CHARLESTON -- Alma Miller, 87, Charleston Route 2, died Monday, Sept. 19, 1994, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born Jan. 17, 1907, in Advance, daughter of Monroe and Floy Mae Poinsett McClain. She and Jasper W. Miller were married Dec. 28, 1923. He died May 19, 1979.
Miller was a member of Diehlstadt General Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, J.W. and Loy Miller of Diehlstadt, Carl Miller of Benton; three daughters, Delia Bryant and Margaret Brothers of Diehlstadt, Carolyn Bellah of Sikeston; two brothers, Willis McClain and John McClain of St. Louis; a sister, Altha Heuring of Sikeston; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, and 11 stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son and three brothers.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at McMikle Funeral Home. The Rev. Raymond Hannah will officiate, with burial in Fairview Cemetery at Advance.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
