ADVANCE, Mo. -- Alma Meador, 86, of Advance died Thursday, July 22, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Jan. 30, 1918, at McGee, Mo., daughter of Ernest and Myrtle Wills Duniphan. She and Carlin Meador were married Oct. 19, 1935, at Zalma, Mo.
Meador was a member of First General Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, D.L. "Red" Meador of Advance, Dale Meador of Hillsboro, Mo.; a daughter, Dola Harris of Advance; three sisters, Rosalee Williams of McGee, Hazel Cooley of Montclair, Calif., Melba Matthews of Houston, Texas; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and three brothers.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Norman Elledge officiating. Burial will be in Berrong Cemetery near Gipsy, Mo.
