She was born Feb. 15, 1912 in Hamburg, Ark., to William Benjamin and Bridget Ozell Dailey Hopper. She married E. Alonzo Crader on Aug. 11, 1931, in Jonesboro, Ill. He preceded her in death April 9, 1997...

Alma Mae Crader, 100, of Scott City died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, at Heartland Care & Rehab Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Feb. 15, 1912 in Hamburg, Ark., to William Benjamin and Bridget Ozell Dailey Hopper. She married E. Alonzo Crader on Aug. 11, 1931, in Jonesboro, Ill. He preceded her in death April 9, 1997.

Crader worked at Ely Walker pants factory as a floor supervisor for many years in Illmo. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church and Ladies Aux. VFW Post 6407.

She is survived by grandson, Eddie (Brenda) Crader of Scott City; two granddaughters, Gina George and Laura Kay Crader of St. Charles, Mo.; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; son, Edgar Eugene Crader; five brothers, Dailey, Bill, Pershine Link, Authur "Ray," Thomas Hopper; four sisters, Willie Janesko, Martha Dunger, Faye Tanio and Biddie Rosella Goehman; and two great-grandsons.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. until time of services Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel. Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Scott City.
