Alma I. Brase, 96, of Cape Girardeau, died Wednesday, Aug. 17, 1994, at the Lutheran Home. She was born July 21, 1898, in Jackson, daughter of William and Rosia Siemers Illers. She and Edwin F. Brase were married June 13, 1931, at Farmington. He died July 14, 1975...

Alma I. Brase, 96, of Cape Girardeau, died Wednesday, Aug. 17, 1994, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born July 21, 1898, in Jackson, daughter of William and Rosia Siemers Illers. She and Edwin F. Brase were married June 13, 1931, at Farmington. He died July 14, 1975.

Brase was a secretary at B&H Auto Supply 30 years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and Trinity Guild.

Survivors include a sister, Amanda Short of Jackson.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Stephen McDougall officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
