ANNA, Ill. -- Alma House, 76, of Anna, died Tuesday, Feb. 6, 1996, at St. Joseph Hospital in Joliet. She was born Feb. 7, 1919, in Energy, daughter of Frank and Emmer Allen Johnson. She first married Elmer Doggett June 8, 1936. He died June 29, 1960. She later married Fred C. House in 1980, who died July 18, 1991...

ANNA, Ill. -- Alma House, 76, of Anna, died Tuesday, Feb. 6, 1996, at St. Joseph Hospital in Joliet.

She was born Feb. 7, 1919, in Energy, daughter of Frank and Emmer Allen Johnson. She first married Elmer Doggett June 8, 1936. He died June 29, 1960. She later married Fred C. House in 1980, who died July 18, 1991.

House was a member of Anna Heights Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Murray of Morris, Janet Smith of Herrin; a stepdaughter, Kay Flynn of Narragansett, R.I.; nine grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sons, four sisters and four brothers.

Crain Funeral Home in Anna is in charge of arrangements.
