ELCO, Ill. -- Alma Gutweiler, 95, of St. Louis died Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2002, in St. Louis.
She was born Sept. 10, 1907, in Elco, daughter of John and Byrd Rendleman Littleton. She married Charles R. Gutweiler, who preceded her in death.
Gutweiler was a teacher most of her life, and had lived in St. Louis 75 years.
Survivors include four nephews, Donald, Denny and Charles Durham of Elco, Raymond Smithey of Fruitland; and a niece, Rose Simokaitis of St. Louis.
Friends may call at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home in Jonesboro, Ill., after 11 a.m. Saturday.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Roy "Buddy" Walls and Jessie White officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
