MOUNDS, Ill. -- Funeral service for Allie Caywood Rogers of Mounds, formerly of Olmsted, will be held at 11 a.m. today at Barkett Funeral Home in Mounds. The Rev. James Calvin Jr. and Darin Wadley will officiate, with burial in Oscar Cemetery at Oscar, Ky.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 9 a.m. today.
Rogers, 82, died Wednesday, Sept. 21, 1994, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
She was born Sept. 7, 1912, in Blandville, Ky., daughter of Frank and Susie Holmes Caldwell. She married George Caywood, who died in 1967. She later married Roscoe Rogers, who died in 1983.
Rogers was a retired seamstress from Lowenbaum, and was a member of the Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Pat Calvin of Mounds, Priscilla Wadley of Jackson, Mo.; a sister, Novie Baxter of Mound City, a twin sister, Hallie Kimbrell of Bandana, Ky.; two stepdaughters, Bonnie Nalepa of Dearborn Heights, Mich., Judy Rennie of Spring, Texas; two stepsons, Sonny and Dale Rogers of Houston, Texas; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; 18 stepgrandchildren, and several great-stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, seven brothers and sisters.
