Allen Ray Hammonds, 36, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, April 1, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born Dec. 20, 1962, in Kennett, son of Eugene and Lillian Hammonds Wynn of Kennett. He married Kay P. Bollinger on March 4, 1995. She survives.
He graduated from Cape Central High School in 1981 and later graduated from Sandford Brown Business College in St. Louis.
He served in the U.S. Army.
He also is survived by his mother; a daughter, Erika Latin of Dallas, Texas; a son, Allen Ray Walker of Cape Girardeau; two stepsons, Lamar Farr of Atlanta, Ga., and Christopher Payton of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, Jerry, Ike and Charles Hammonds, all of Cape Girardeau; six sisters, Jewel Harrell and Denise Wynn, both of Kennett, Aloise Foulks of Jefferson City, Mildred Hutson of Alton, Ill., Margaret Wynn Taylor and Christine Taylor, both of Toledo, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Monday until the funeral at 1 p.m. at the Greater Dimension Church of God in Christ in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Dr. William Bird will officiate.
Burial will follow at the New Lorimier Cemetery.
