DEXTER -- Aline Loretta Land, 79, of Dexter died Monday, Nov. 22, 1999, at her home.
She was born April 13, 1920, in Leedey, Okla., daughter of Oliver Wilkes and Edith Ann Vernon Quattlebaum. She and Wayne Land were married Jan. 8, 1938, in Stillwater, Okla.
Land had worked at Hardy's Office and Gift Store. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Delphenia Sunday School Class, and the Thimble Club.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Larry Land of Lafayette, Ind., Robert Land of Jefferson City; two daughters, Trudie Garrett of House Springs, Loretta Templeton of Cape Girardeau; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, and six sisters.
Friends may call at Rainey Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-7 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The Rev. Wayne Dismuke will officiate. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
