ALICE NELSON

PERRYVILLE -- Alice J. Nelson, 61, of Perryville, died Monday, July 1, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born March 26, 1935, in St. Louis, daughter of Everett and Sara Solomon Kush. She and Phillip R. Nelson were married Sept. 28, 1958.

Nelson was manager of Highway Video. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Crosstown, and Perryville Chapter 46 Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Jamie Nelson of Farmington; two sisters, Evelyn Crawford and Delores Cunningham of Bowling Green; a brother, Everett Kush of High Ridge, and a grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a son and her parents.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and Friday after 6:30 a.m. There is no visitation Thursday.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Phillip Keeton officiating. Burial will be in Laural Hills Cemetery in St. Louis.
