KARNAK, Ill. -- Alice Russell Ford, 64, of Metropolis, Ill., formerly of Vienna, Ill., died Sunday, March 4, 2001, at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Ky.
She was born April 20, 1936, in Belknap, Ill., daughter of John and Murvey Richardson Russell. She was employed by TIP of Illinois and the Shawnee Development Council.
Survivors include her husband, Steve Ford, of Metropolis; a daughter, Beverly Ballard of Belknap; three sons, Kenneth Dunn of Karnak, Ill., and Kevin Ford and Steven Ford, both of Metropolis; three sisters, Mary Cameron and Lelia Saltsman, both of Belknap, and Ida Lance of Springfield, Ill.; a brother, Forrest Ovid Russell of Cypress, Ill.; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, a brother and a grandson.
Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. today at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Revs. Steve Heisner and Shawn Wasson will officiate, with burial in the Masonic Cemetery at Belknap.
