MURPHYSBORO, Ill. -- Alice E. Neace, 77, of Murphysboro died Saturday, July 29, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born July 24, 1918, in Cobden, the daughter of William A. and Lily Mae Broadway Reed.
On Jan. 27, 1936, she married the Rev. Daniel H. Neace, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include six sons, Noah Hobert Neace and Robert Neace Sr., both of Murphysboro, Claude Neace and Andrew Neace of Jackson, Mo., the Rev. John D. Neace of Benton and the Rev. Don Neace of Big Stone Gap, Va.; a daughter, Betty Octavine Ripley of Murphysboro; 16 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, three brothers and four great grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Pettett Funeral Home in Murphysboro, where services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Paul Ramsey and the Rev. Jim Griffin will officiate, and burial be in Pleasant Grove Memorial Park in Murphysboro.
