SIKESTON -- Alfreda Denton, 94, of Lantana, Fla., died Friday, April 7, 1995, at Ridge Terrace Health Care Center in Lantana. She was born June 30, 1900, in rural Sikeston, daughter of Muggie and Minnie Denton. Denton was a graduate of Sikeston High School. SIKESTON -- Alfreda Denton, 94, of Lantana, Fla., died Friday, April 7, 1995, at Ridge Terrace Health Care Center in Lantana.
She was born June 30, 1900, in rural Sikeston, daughter of Muggie and Minnie Denton.
Denton was a graduate of Sikeston High School. She had worked for Missouri Highway and Transportation Department many years.

Survivors include a nephew, Stanton Myers of Augusta, Ga.
Funeral service and entombment will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the mausoleum at Sikeston City Cemetery.
There is no visitation.
Ponder Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
