MOUND CITY, Ill. -- Alfred Eugene Brown, 72, of Unity, died Monday, Nov. 23, 1992, at his home.

He was born Feb. 6, 1920, at Mound City, son of Ed and Lillie Handle Brown.

Brown worked for Rose City Rides at Perryville, and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include six stepsons, Charles and William Pride of Kennett, Mo., Leon Foster of Rives, Mo., Frank Pride of Weingarten, Mo., David Gaskins of Unity, William Armour of Charleston, Mo.; three stepdaughters, Barbara Taylor and Joan Gaskins of Charleston, and Wanda Pugh of East Prairie.

Graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at National Cemetery in Mound City.

Friends may call at Jones Funeral Home in Tamms after 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.
