Graveside service for Alfred Allen Butrum, 1016 N. Fountain, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Fairmount Cemetery. The Rev. David Pringle will officiate.
Friends may call Thursday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from noon to 1 p.m.
Butrum, 56, died Monday, Feb. 19, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born Jan. 13, 1940, in Sikeston, son of Marion Lee and Lola Marie Marchbanks Butrum. He married Mary Morris.
Butrum was a farm laborer many years, and member of First Baptist Church at Wyatt.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Charles Copen, Isaac and Jerry Renn of Cape Girardeau; four brothers, Marvin and Commadore Butrum of Sikeston, George Butrum of Paragould, Ark., Gary Butrum of Leopold; four sisters, Lola Young of Poplar Bluff, Kathleen Young of Fisk, Carolyn Tucker of Sikeston, Amelia Renn of Cape Girardeau; 14 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
