Alexys Buckingham

Alexys Isabell Buckingham died shortly after birth Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2007, at St. Mary's Hospital in St. Louis.

Survivors include her parents, Lance Preston Buckingham and Kayla Richelle McKee of Scott City; a brother, Shayne Buckingham of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Paige Buckingham of Austin, Texas; paternal grandparents, Robert Buckingham of San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Judy Buckingham of Scott City; maternal grandparents, Jeff Williams of Olive Branch, Ill., and Bill and Gayla Goins of Poplar Bluff, Mo.

Also paternal great-grandparents, Charles and Olga Lance of Scott City; maternal great-grandparents, Kay and Charles Jordan of Tamms, Ill., Marion Williams and Margie Williams of Olive Branch, Ill.; and paternal great-great-grandmother, Lucille Lance of Scott City.

Friends may call at Cape First Church from 4 p.m. to service time Saturday.

A prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the church, with the Rev. Charles Lance officiating.
