SIKESTON, Mo. -- Alene M. Roberts, 84, of Sikeston died on Sunday, April 1, 2001 at her home. Roberts was born April 20, 1916, in Essex, Mo., daughter of William Orville and Ethyl Evelyn Rose Tedford. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. She and Oral Roberts were married Jan. 18, 1936, near Bloomfield, Mo. He died Oct. 22, 1985...
SIKESTON, Mo. -- Alene M. Roberts, 84, of Sikeston died on Sunday, April 1, 2001 at her home.
Roberts was born April 20, 1916, in Essex, Mo., daughter of William Orville and Ethyl Evelyn Rose Tedford.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church. She and Oral Roberts were married Jan. 18, 1936, near Bloomfield, Mo. He died Oct. 22, 1985.

Survivors include a daughter, Ruth Roberts of Sikeston; and a brother, Junior Tedford of Wappapello, Mo.
She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jim Guffie officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
