PERRYVILLE -- Aleine M. Fadler, 79, of St. Charles died Tuesday, May 13, 1997, at her home. She was born Oct. 1, 1917, in Yount, daughter of Frank and Sarah Harper Crites. She married Harry C. Fadler on March 26, 1937, and he preceded her in death on April 2, 1992...

PERRYVILLE -- Aleine M. Fadler, 79, of St. Charles died Tuesday, May 13, 1997, at her home.

She was born Oct. 1, 1917, in Yount, daughter of Frank and Sarah Harper Crites. She married Harry C. Fadler on March 26, 1937, and he preceded her in death on April 2, 1992.

She had been a hostess at Captain D Restaurant in St. Charles, a bulk mail carrier from Perryville to St. Mary and a manager of Perryville's first Dairy Queen.

She is survived by three sons, John Fadler of Owensville, Carl Fadler of Crestwood and Denver Fadler of Barnhart; four brothers, John Crites of Farmington, Everett and Ralph Crites, both of Piedmont, and Lloyd Crites of St. Charles; one sister, Ruth Stull of Mira Loma, Calif.; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, and from 6:30 a.m. to time of service Friday, at Young & Sons Chapel in Perryville. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday at the chapel with the Rev. Donald Loesch officiating. Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
