MOUNDS, Ill. -- Alden H. Wisely, 80, of Yazoo City, Miss., died Monday, April 29, 1996, at Kings Daughters Hospital in Yazoo City.
He was born in 1915 in Vergennes.
Wisely was a retired painter and former alderman in Mounds. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Mounds Volunteer Fire Department, and a member of Calendonia Masonic Lodge 47 in Pulaski.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; a daughter, Sandra Green of Yazoo City; a son, Albert "Sonny" Wisely of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a sister, Millie Gustafson of Carterville, and four grandchildren.
Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home in Mounds after 6 p.m. today. Masonic rites will be conducted at 7:30.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. F. Jerry Herring officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Memorial Park in Murphysboro.
