ALBERTA SNOW

VILLA RIDGE, Ill. -- Alberta Snow, 84, of Villa Ridge died Sunday, Dec. 27, 1998, at Meridian Manor Nursing Home in Mounds.

She was born Jan. 27, 1914, in Panhandle, Ky., daughter of John and Minnie Mitchell Hall. She married Hervey Snow, who died in 1987.

Snow was a member of the Christian Church and Mounds VFW Auxiliary.

Survivors include three daughters, Beverly Kelley and Shirley Grant of Villa Ridge, Lucille LaMarr; two brothers, William Hall of Mayfield, Ky., Robert Hall of Toledo, Ore.; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a grandson.

Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home in Mound City after 5 p.m. today. The VFW Auxiliary will conduct a memorial service at 7.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Danny Beggs officiating. Burial will be in the U.S. National Cemetery at Mound City.
