Alberta Churchill Jones, 88, of Cape Girardeau and formerly of Murray, Ky., died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2003, at Jackson.
She was born June 20, 1915, at Talbolhom County, Ga., daughter of Guthrie Ottis and Mary Elizabeth Bryan Churchill.
Jones was a member of the Centenary United Methodist Church of Cape Girardeau. She and her late husband, Everett D. Jones, were both longtime supporters of the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America.
Survivors include a daughter, Wylene White of Cape Girardeau; a son, Everett Ottis Jones of Brentwood, Tenn.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home in Murray.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mark Earheart officiating.
