Alberta Brumley, 83, of Bryant, Ark., formerly of Cape Girardeau and Charleston, died Wednesday, May 8, 1991, at Regional Nursing Center in Bryant.
He was born Aug. 1, 1907, in Mississippi County, son of Charles Henry and Ella Reagan Vowels. He and the former Albert Allen Brumley were married Feb. 12, 1927. He died July 17, 1988.
Brumley lived in Cape Girardeau a number of years, and was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church and Exchange Club.
Survivors include three sons, Gregory Brumley of Wichita, Kan., Gerald Brumley of Little Rock, Ark., Clifford Brumley of Paducah, Ky.; a daughter, Dorothy Patrick of Houston, Texas; three sisters, Marie Murphy of Charleston, Pauline Lockaby of Dexter, Beatrice Walker of Sun City, Ariz.; seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Henry's Catholic Church in Charleston. The Rev. Raymond Kunkel will officiate, with burial in IOOF Cemetery near here.
Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston after 3 p.m. Sunday.
