MOREHOUSE, Mo. -- Albert August Stoffregen Jr., 73, died Thursday, April 22, 2010, at his home in Morehouse.
He was born May 2, 1936, in Delta, son of the late Albert August and Freda Allensworth Stoffregen Sr. He and Brenda Hayden were married Jan. 21, 1983.
Stoffregen was owner and operator of Al's Quick Sack in Morehouse, retiring in 2005.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Randy Stoffregen of Baytown, Texas; a stepson, Mark Green of Sikeston, Mo.; a stepdaughter, Amy Preyer of Kennett, Mo.; four sisters, Linda McIntosh of Dogwood, Mo., Barbara Swindle of Advance, Mo., Dorothy Kelley of Delta, Evelyn Nussbaum of Chaffee, Mo.; a sister-in-law, Nancy Stoffregen of Chaffee; and 12 grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Terry Stoffregen, and two brothers, Fred and Bob Stoffregen.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston. The Rev. Randy Depro, a Baptist minister, will officiate. Burial will be in Kenyon Cemetery at Chaffee.
