PERRYVILLE -- Albert H. "Aubie" Schamburg Jr., 76, of Perryville, died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 1995, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
He was born April 21, 1919, at Friedenburg, son of Albert and Louise Ochs Schamburg Sr. He and Cletea Mae Tucker were married Aug. 14, 1954.
Schamburg worked at International Shoe Co. 42 years. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and its men's and adult choir, and American Legion Post. He was a former member of Perry County Hospital Board. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Ann Schamburg of Jackson; five sisters, Evelyn Schamburg of Denver, Colo., Doris Griese of Fort Smith, Ark., Laura Schamburg, Lillian Lorenz and Verna Hagan, all of Perryville, and a grandson.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 3-9 p.m. today, and Friday from 6:30-10:45 a.m. An American Legion wake will be held at 7 tonight.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Immanuel Church, with the Rev. Donald Loesch officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
