MARBLE HILL -- Albert Charles Peters, 63, of Riverview Gardens and formerly of Marble Hill, died Monday, April 17, 2000, at Granite City, Ill.
He was born June 4, 1936, at Bessville, son of Charles and Agnes C. Beel Peters.
He married Marie Landewee on Aug. 11, 1962. Peters was a packer for the Young Dental Manufacturing Co. in St. Louis.
He was a member of the St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church of Riverview Gardens.
He is survived by his wife; four sons, Kenneth Peters of Olathe, Kan., Donald Peters of Lake St. Louis, Ronald Peters of Wright City and Kevin Peters of St. Louis; four brothers, Ted T. and Ralph Peters, both of Marble Hill, Herman Peters of Cape Girardeau and Clarence Peters of De Soto; a sister, Shirley Thiele of Marble Hill; and seven grandchildren.
A brother preceded him in death.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Frederick Lutz officiating. Burial will be in the St. Anthony's Catholic Church Cemetery at Glennon.
