ALTENBURG -- Funeral service for Albert B. Fiedler of Altenburg will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. Willard Kassulke will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel after 4 p.m. Friday.
Fiedler, 81 years old, died Sunday, Feb. 24, 1991, at Perry County Hospital.
He was born July 6, 1909, at New Wells, son of Benjamin and Mary Mahnken Fiedler. He and the former Ida A. Wachter were married Sept. 8, 1933. She died July 21, 1893.
Fiedler was a retired farmer, member of Trinity Church and Altenburg Lions Club, and former member of East Perry Fair Board.
Survivors include a son, Theodore Fiedler of Tubingen, Germany; two daughters, Mrs. Elton Haertling of Frohna, Faye Fiedler of Oak Park, Ill.; a brother, Leo Fiedler of Jackson; three sisters, Stella Dreyer of Overland, Mildred Weber of Frohna, Erna Powell of San Luis Obispo, Calif., and a grandson.
