Funeral for Alan J. Chesley of Wakarusa, Ind., was held Feb. 10 at Bible Baptist Church in Wakarusa. The Rev. David Harper officiated. Burial was in Olive East Cemetery.
Thompson-Lengacher and Yoder Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Chesley, 51, died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2001, at his home.
He was born Aug. 29, 1949, in Phoenix, Ariz., son of Horace and Betty Kies Chesley. He and Priscilla Smeltzer were married Aug. 18, 1978, in Wakarusa.
Chesley attended Southeast Missouri State University and Yuma Community College. He was a maintenance electrician at Nibco in Goshen, Ind. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jared and Jeremy Chesley of the home; two brothers, John Chesley of Florence, Ariz., Bill Chesley of Chad, Africa; and a sister, Carole Beatty of Chandler, Ariz.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
