NEW HAMBURG -- Funeral Mass for Al Glastetter of New Hamburg will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St Lawrence Catholic Church. The Rev. Normand Varone will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 4 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7.
Glastetter, 73, died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 1999, at his home.
He was born May 10, 1925, at New Hamburg, son of Gregory and Lorene Felter Glastetter. He and Beatrice Evylin Mock were married Nov. 16, 1946. She died Jan. 9, 1996.
Glastetter was a self-employed farmer. He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and St. Joseph Sodality.
Survivors include four sons, Greg, Robert, Elmer and Tom Glastetter, all of Chaffee; four daughters, Bertha Maloney of Greensboro, N.C., Evelyn Broussard of Troy, Ill., Diane Fant of Edwardsville, Ill., Joanne Johnson of Kansas City, Kan.; a sister, Rita Murphy of St. Louis; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
