AGNES ZAHNER

PERRYVILLE -- Agnes V. "Bernice" Zahner, 92, of Perryville died Thursday, April 13, 2000, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born Feb. 19, 1908, in Arkansas, daughter of William and Rosella Mowry. She and Wallace S. Zahner were married April 9, 1929. He died in January 1972.

Zahner was a member of Trinity Baptist Church at St. Mary's.

Survivors include a daughter, Della Taylor of Ste. Genevieve; five sons, Lilburn Zahner of Hephzibah, Ga., Ralph Zahner of Lithium, Eugene, Harold and Garrie Zahner, all of Perryville; five sisters, Alberta Cissell, Jodie Coppaway, Estelle DeWeese and Iceal Brewer, all of Perryville, Pearl Otte of St. Mary's; 29 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, a son, three brothers, and three sisters.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today, and Saturday from 6:30 a.m. until service time.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev. Irvin Brooks will officiate. Burial will be in Home Cemetery.
