AGNES WALL

PATTON -- Agnes Elizabeth Wall, 79, of Ste. Genevieve died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 1999, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Festus.

She was born June 8, 1919, at St. Louis, daughter of John W. and Agnes Elizabeth Roher Smith. She and Vincent E. Wall were married Sept. 10, 1942.

Wall had been a cashier at Famous-Barr Co. in St. Louis. She was a member of Jesus Evangelical Church in St. Louis.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Roger Wall of Indianapolis, Ind.; six brothers, Herbert Smith of St. Louis, William and Robert Smith of Arnold, Sylvester Smith of Barnhart, Charles Smith of St. Louis County, Carl Smith of Houston, Texas; two sisters, Ida Ellerbeck and Laverne Joenk of St. Louis; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, two brothers, and a grandson.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Patton after 9 a.m. Saturday.

Funeral will be at noon Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kirby Grindstaff officiating. Burial will be in Patton Cemetery.
