ZALMA -- Agnes Veronia Winkler, 82, of Zalma, died Saturday, July 2, 1994 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Nov. 15, 1911 at Tamms, Ill., daughter of Edward Ellis and Ethel May Willtrout Tindall.
She first married Thomas Pattie, who preceded her in death. She then married James Henry Pattie, who also preceded her in death. She later married Walter Winkler, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by three sons, Fred Pattie, Marble Hill, David Pattie, Jacksonville, Ill., and Don Pattie, St. Louis; four daughters, Yerba Melni, Santa Barbara, Calif., Marjorie Christian, Roodhouse, Ill., Henrietta Zeiss, Marble Hill, and Laura Ann Mortellard, St. Charles; two sisters, Mae Moad and Hester Moad, both of Anna, Ill.; 40 grandchildren; and 50 great-grandchildren.
One daughter preceded her in death.
She had attended the Point Pleasant General Baptist Church and Marble Hill Bible Chapel.
Friends may call Monday from 5-8 p.m. at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Charles and Dr. John D. Engelhart officiating. Burial will be at the Dry Creek Cemetery near Marble Hill.
